Mid Century Modern Credenza Make-Over

I found my lovely mid century modern credenza at a little shop in NoHo. They actually have a great selection of MCM that has been refurbished, but they also offer pieces that haven’t yet been re-done and are priced at a fraction of the finished pieces.

That’s what I got! I love this piece because of the beautiful ingrained wood designs on the top and on the doors.

Plus it has a ton of storage. It’s going under the flat screen in the living room and I’m looking forward to having a nice place to put all the DVD’s…and stuff I don’t know what to do with.

So, Here is the before!! It is beautiful but it had lots of scratches and the hardware was dull and chipped.

Credenza After

Here is the AFTER: New stain, which is close to the original, clean, sanded, stained. The hardware has been repainted a nice brass.

Here it is in the house. So much great storage. I love it!
